Shadow Tag

I just finished reading Shadow Tag byLouise Erdrich and it was one of the best books I have read this summer. It tells the story of Gil, a painter, and his wife and muse, Irene. It is told from both of their perspectives as well as that of their middle child, a daughter named Riel. They have a terribly dysfunctional marriage but neitheris able to leave. Gil is obsessed with Irene and threatens to take the children from her because of her alcoholism if she divorces him. They are both deeply flawed...
