Mamavation Monday Weigh In

As of yesterday, my weight is down from 155.4 to 154.2! 1 more pound and I am halfway to my goal of 36 pounds lost!!! I didn't make it to the gym on Sunday or Monday but I am going today and hopefully I won't miss anymore days this week. Saturday when I went I did a 2 1/2 mile walk on the track and even ran for one lap. I realize 1/8 of a mile isn't much but it is a start for me. Mamavation Monday Weigh In

I figured it wasn't fair to keep calling this a weekly weigh in because I never remember to post it every week! It's been 3 weeks since my last weigh in and I am pretty pleased with where I am at. Since my last post 4 weeks ago, I am down 1 inch in my waist and 2 inches in my legs! Mamavation Monday Weekly Weigh In

So excited to be writing my first Mamavation Monday update! I did really well last week with going to the gym and only missed Saturday and Sunday. I actually plan on taking every Sunday off but Saturday I had my brother and sister in law in town so I just didn't make it. I know that is something I just need to plan better for in the future. So far so good

Yesterday Mariah and I went to get our family signed up at the YMCA. We did work out for a little bit after we signed up but left early to get ourselves a cute workout outfit and gym bags. It has to be more fun when you look cute, right??? I definitely think that a cute outfit will be a good reward for meeting our fitness goals down the road. Mamavation Monday Pledge

Over the last few years I have struggled with my weight for the first time in my life and it is due to the very unhealthy life that I have been living. It is only in the last couple weeks that I have been making sure to include fresh produce in my diet and have only worked out sporadically. It is not just about me either. Something has got to give.

And that something might be the chair I am sitting on! Ok it is not that bad but as I have said over and over this last couple years has been a little bit of a battle of the bulge. Tangy Baked Chicken

I made this baked chicken today for dinner and it turned out so well. The best part was that it was super easy to make and good for you! Step 1. Mix together 1 cup plain greek yogurt, 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese,1 teaspoon minced garlic and 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning. Step 2. Place skinless, boneless chicken breast in glass pan and cover with sauce mixture. Doesn't look like much now but I promise you it is delicious!! Step 3. Ch ch ch changes

So it looks like I will be starting a new job at the end of the month. Same company, same position but just a new clinic which is going to be a very good thing. Two years ago I had transferred to another clinic for the hospital I worked for and it has been great up until we moved this last February which turned my 15 min commute into a 35 min commute. The joys of home ownership

Wemoved in to our house inFebruary and it has been one fun home improvement project after another since then.
